View POS sales, shifts, money, and analytics

Find in-store sales, reprint receipts, review POS orders, audit discretionary money events, and filter analytics by location.

StoreMink keeps quick counter history inside POS and fuller operational reporting in the dashboard.

Use the Sales screen at the counter

  1. Open Sales from the POS menu.
  2. Search register receipts and completed in-store pickup orders from the current location.
  3. Open a row to see the customer contact, sale type, completion time, every item and quantity, subtotal, discount, tax, total and each tender.
  4. Print the receipt, or start a return when your role and the return policy allow it.

Use the dashboard Orders workspace

When POS is enabled on Pro, Dashboard → Orders shows All orders, Website orders, and POS orders. A standard register sale shows Sold at location, cashier, attached customer, items, payments, and receipt. Walk-in appears only on a historical anonymous row. It does not show delivery or shipment controls because the goods were handed over at the register.

Review shift history

Open Point of Sale → Shifts to review open and closed drawers. Closed Z-reports preserve sales, tenders, refunds, cash movements, counts, and variance from the moment the shift closed.

Review the Money log

Open Point of Sale → Money for discretionary events rather than every ordinary sale. It records completed discounts, price overrides, refunds, cash drops, payouts, and paid-in movements with the operator, order, amount, and approver. Device pairing and security events remain on Devices instead.

Use Analytics

Open Analytics and choose a date range and accessible location. POS orders contribute to recognised sales, orders, units, products, channels, locations, payment-method reports, inventory velocity, refunds, and gross margin when configured. Split tenders appear by their real methods rather than as one vague Split row.

Understand location scope

An unrestricted owner can choose one physical location or the whole accessible store. Staff assigned to a location cannot use an Analytics URL to see another shop. A location view excludes online or unassigned orders when it is meant to describe that exact shop.

Customer history

A customer attached at the till sees the sale under In store in their storefront order history. Pickup orders also appear in the in-store journey even though the order was placed through website checkout.

Understand collected pickups in Sales

A website pickup joins POS Sales after it is handed over at this location. It is labelled Store pickup and uses its order reference when it has no POS receipt number. This records the completed shop sale in the same counter history without changing its website sales channel or duplicating the order.

See what has already been refunded

A sale in Sales carries a label when money has gone back. Refunded means the whole sale has been returned; Partly refunded means some of it has, and the rest can still come back. Cancelled is separate and means the sale was undone rather than refunded.

Return items disappears only on a cancelled sale and on one that is fully refunded, because there is nothing left to take back. It stays available on a partly refunded sale so the remaining items can be returned later.

These labels follow refunds that have actually settled. A gateway refund that fails is removed again, so a sale can correctly stop showing as refunded.
