Manage store and personal notifications
Configure team and customer messages, channels, recipients, templates and digests, then set your own staff opt-outs.
StoreMink records important activity first, then sends notifications only for events and audiences that have a delivery rule. Team messages and customer messages are configured separately because they have different recipients and wording.
Read the dashboard notification bell on a phone
Select the bell in the dashboard top bar to open your latest in-app notifications. On a phone, the inbox aligns to the screen edges with a small gutter and scrolls inside the panel, so titles and actions stay visible without moving the dashboard sideways. Select a notification to open its related page, or select View all activity.
Open notification settings
- Open Settings, then Notifications.
- Choose Customer notifications when you want to review what shoppers receive.
- Choose Team notifications when you want to decide which staff are alerted.
- Open All notifications to search or filter every event.
Configure one notification
- Select the event, such as an order or fulfilment update.
- Choose the Team or Customer audience.
- Enable only the available delivery channels.
- For team delivery, choose recipients or routing and a digest setting when offered.
- Edit the permitted template fields and use only the variables shown on the page.
- Preview or send a test email when available, then save.
Customer routing identifies the shopper from the event. Team routing can target store staff. Some safety-critical events are always on and cannot be disabled. SMS also needs an active store connection and an approved DLT template whose text matches the registered template.
Manage your own notifications
- Open My notifications.
- Turn your own in-app or email delivery on or off for configurable team events.
- Save the preferences.
Every dashboard user can manage their own opt-outs, even when they cannot change store-wide notification settings. A personal opt-out never redirects another person's message and does not stop required customer communication.
If messages do not arrive
- Review the delivery warning on the Notifications overview.
- Check the audience, channel, recipient rule, personal opt-out, and event-specific template.
- Open Email logs or SMS logs to see whether StoreMink tried to send it.
- Confirm the customer or staff contact detail is valid.
- For SMS, check the provider connection, DLT entity and template approval, variables, and Twilio balance. The current StoreMink log records only the initial send attempt, so inspect Twilio when final carrier delivery must be confirmed.
See Use activity, email, SMS, and failure logs when delivery needs investigation.
