Create your StoreMink store

StoreMink guides you through one step at a time. Your store is created on the Free plan first. You can then choose a paid plan and pay for it straight away, or skip that step and upgrade whenever you like.

Before you begin

• Use an email address that you can verify now.
• Your business address and verified mobile number are added later, from the dashboard, before you open the store. If you choose a paid plan during signup, you verify your mobile just before paying.
• Choose a short store name. StoreMink uses it to create your free StoreMink address.
• Read and accept the Terms, Privacy Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy.

Create the account

1. Open storemink.com and select Create your store.
2. Enter your email address and a password of at least eight characters, then select Create account. You can select Continue with Google instead.
3. If you used a password, enter the six-digit code sent to your email. The code expires after 10 minutes.

A Google account with a verified email skips the email-code step. Never share a verification code with anyone.

Create the store

1. Enter your name, the store name and the country you sell from, check the suggested StoreMink address, then select Continue.
2. Choose a plan. To start on the Free plan, select Skip, start on Free. For Basic or Pro, choose monthly or yearly billing, select the plan, then select Continue.
3. For a paid plan, verify your mobile number with the six-digit code we text to it, then pay in the secure payment window. It shows the exact amount, including any GST, before you pay.
4. Wait for StoreMink to open the new store dashboard.

Your store starts without a theme, so anyone who enters its password sees a Store in progress page until you choose one. Choose it from Storefront in your dashboard, under Online store, and change it whenever you like; see Change your storefront theme.

If signup stops

• Use Start signup again if the signed-in account was deleted or cannot be refreshed.
• If an email is already registered, StoreMink may sign in to that account so you can continue safely.
• Allow pop-ups for Google sign-in.
• Do not repeatedly request codes. Temporary sending and attempt limits protect the account.
• If you close the payment window, your store is still created on the Free plan. Choose a plan any time from Plans & billing.

After the dashboard opens, follow Complete your store setup.
